Experience the wide range of Advent activities on offer in Upper Austria! A stay in Wels is particularly special during the run-up to Christmas. Choir stages are placed throughout the city centre for the 'Voices in Advent'. On all four Advent weekends, Christmas choirs gather on the Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and fill the city with Christmas spirit with their musical performances. Around 60 choirs of more than 1,000 singers entertain the city during this time. In addition to the famous shopping experience, Wels also offers an atmospheric and varied annual Advent programme.
