Bargains market - people magnet

For real bargain-hunters this is a date to remember: On one Saturday in February and one Saturday in August the Wels city centre is home to the biggest bargain market in the Wels business community. Visitors are expected from all over Upper Austria. The market is open from 9:00 to 16:00 with some 60 stalls in Winter and 140 in Summer, all offering great deals.

These open-air sales held by the business community and organised by the Wels city marketing division are a real magnet for visitors every year and guarantee additional business for all concerned. The retailers come well prepared and the selection is vast, with all sectors represented. The range of bargains available spans from women's, men's and children's clothes to shoes, sports items, leather goods, jewellery, cosmetics and toys as well as books, household items, gifts, flowers, home ware, etc.
