In the Wels Minoritenplatz square, close to the
historic city square, more than 1,200 m2 of culinary
delights from all over the world will be presented
along with international cinema hits. On a cinema screen of around 30 m², top current films are shown daily after dark. The Wels film festival is accompanied by an exiting support programme including live musical performances on the show stage. |
Spend a weekend of film in Wels
1st day:
Arrive early afternoon - check in at hotel - guided tour of
Wels - evening meal in the open air (food from 12 different
nations available) - evening programme (open-air film showings
or stage show), bad weather - alternative available.
2nd day:
Comprehensive breakfast buffet - trip to Gmunden to see the
film location of the world famous TV series "Schlosshotel Ort"
- boat trip on the Traunsee - travel home
