lebensspuren.museum (traces of life museum)

4600 Wels, Pollheimerstraße 4

In direct proximity to the Ledererturm - in an English country home style villa designed by Berlin architect H. Muthesius in 1916/18 - is the 'Lebensspuren.Museum'. The informative display spans from the first signs of human life in volcanic ashes to the high-tech stamping machines of the present day. The company museum looks back at stamp production with its historical workshop when each letter had to be individually set by hand. The stamping workshop is a paradise for children - visitors can experiment with motif stamps and stamping equipment to their heart's content.
